Distraction ahoy

Evidently there’s a new scandal brewing in Washington, or perhaps an old scandal is flaring up again. Either way, Trump (or more likely the Deep State) has decided that a new distraction is needed. So today in the White House at 3:00 pm EDT, Trump will meet with all 100 members of the U.S. Senate to resume threatening North Korea.

Leading Senators are reportedly thrilled.

Joining the sabre-rattling will be Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of “Defense” (sic) Jim Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and General Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

To enhance the distraction factor, this will evidently be a closed-door meeting, in order to make the nation bicker and speculate about what was said.

Trump is demanding that the U.N. Security Council impose more sanctions on the people of North Korea.

Russia will veto Trump as always. Neocons are boasting that Putin is terrified of Trump (as seen at right).

It’s all to distract the masses as they continue to be fleeced by rich neoliberals and their puppet politicians.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham says Trump should follow Obama’s lead, and start talking about “red lines.”

Later Trump will meet with the entire U.S. House to explain the same North Korean nonsense.
