If Trump is so evil, then why is he so despised by evil establishment Republicans? Is it because they think Trump can’t win against Hillary?
No, they hate Trump because they are scared that he might win, in which case their jobs might be threatened. (I say that Trump has no chance of winning. More on that below.)
Kevin Williamson in the National Review blog (a mouthpiece for the Republican establishment) says that average people who support Trump deserve to die. He says that poor communities are dysfunctional.
Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need is real opportunity.
And that’s from a Republican!
I have never seen a presidential candidate who is so popular with average people in his party, yet so despised by rich people in his own party (and by their toadies). It’s pathetic. And the more mud is thrown at him, the stronger he gets.
Rubio has now dropped out, and Clinton has a bigger lead over Sanders than Trump has over Cruz. It’s as if all political insiders of both parties are vilifying Trump in order to make sure that Hillary wins the White House. (I have been predicting that Hillary will win for over a year.)
It seems to me that the race is already over. Half of the Democrat delegates is 1,191, and Hillary has 1,567. That’s why you don’t hear much from her. It’s why she’s not going around giving speeches. She already has the nomination in the bag.
Half of Republican delegates is 619, and Trump already has 621.
